Hands Feet Neck
This video is a kind of library of some of the many conditioning exercises available for the extremities: hands, feet and neck.
The hands and feet bear the load of the body in so many poses. For the hands, as load-bearing is not their most obvious function, they will quite reasonably tend to be used in relatively monotonous ways. For the feet the problem is more likely to be that they spend so much time, both in ordinary life and in asana practice, bearing the body that overuse and fatigue may be a problem. For the neck on the other hand, while it does bear load in the various headstands, the problem is more the everyday tensions and restrictions that can so easily build up in the neck. For all three it may be useful to apply some relieving pressure outside of formal asana, especially when this is done a little outside the regular working range.
